Challenger™
With a chlorine resistant 100% butyl diaphragm, incorporating a precision molded polypropylene liner, the Challenger™ Series tanks offer superior air and water separation. The CAD-2 diaphragm and liner assembly containing drawdown water are sealed together with a positive lock internal clench ring. An ‘air buffer’ prevents the water chamber from being in contact with the tank wall in order to minimize condensation issues.
Constructed with FDA compliant high-grade butyl and polypropylene, the diaphragm assembly seals water in a true non-corrosive chamber. The air chamber is sealed with a fixed O-ring and closed cell foam which will ensure years of leak free operation and eliminate the need for regular servicing.
The exterior comprises a two-part polyurethane paint finish over an epoxy undercoating which guarantees hundreds of hours of UV and salt spray protection.
As with all GWS products Challenger™ tanks are quality tested throughout the production process to ensure their structural integrity. Maintenance free, these tanks are the best steel pressure vessels on the market today, and represent a cost effective solution.

C2Lite CAD™ series
Offering a lightweight composite solution with proven performance, the C2Lite CAD™ series has been designed with the patented controlled action diaphragm designs of GWS Challenger™ tanks.
What sets the C2Lite CAD™ apart from other composite tanks, is that it doesn’t hide tired old bag technology in a plastic shell; the patented CAD2 diaphragm design is considerably stronger and will not crease or deteriorate. The C2Lite CAD™ features a chlorine resistant 100% butyl diaphragm with precision molded copolymer polypropylene liner for superior air and water separation. The patented design allows each size tank to offer a properly sized water chamber matched to the drawdown performance of the tank.
Easy to install, weather resistant and engineered to withstand extreme environmental conditions, the C2Lite CAD™ design cannot be beaten when it comes to performance and durability and are the best quality composite vessels available today.
As with all GWS products C2Lite CAD™ tanks are quality tested throughout the production process to ensure their structural integrity.

VSF/VSD APPLICATIONS
FlowThru™ series
The FlowThru™ range of tanks is ideally suited for systems where the water stored in the tank is not circulated due to a maintained level of continuous pressure in the system. Every model in the range has been designed with a patented FlowThru™ connection which diverts system water into and, more importantly, out of the tank while the pump is running. This constant flushing action assures that the water in the tank remains as fresh as possible and eliminates the possibility of stagnant water during normal system operations.
Like the rest of GWS’s steel and composite tanks, the FlowThru™ incorporates our patented controlled action diaphragm-CAD2, which regulates movement and prevents the diaphragm from rubbing against the tank wall.
Global Water Solutions now guarantees the freshest water quality possible with the revolutionary FlowThru™ series design; available in both composite and steel models. Featuring GWS’s exclusive patented FlowThru™ technology, the possibility of stagnation has been eliminated, so you can rest assured that your system will provide the freshest water possible.
As with all GWS products, FlowThru™ tanks are quality tested throughout the production process to ensure their structural integrity. Steel models are capable of managing a maximum working temperature of 90°C/ 194°F, and composite models are capable of managing 49°C / 120°F.

SHOCK ARRESTING
HydroGuard™ series
The HydroGuard™ series has been specifically designed for hydraulic hammer arresting applications. Featuring the latest diaphragm technology, HydroGuard™ shock arrestors are built to reduce or eliminate hydraulic shock, otherwise known as water hammer.
How HydroGuard™ shock arrestors work:
HydroGuard™ shock arrestors absorb pressure surges within waters or other fluids that are suddenly stopped or forced into other directions by fast closing valves. A high-grade butyl diaphragm is sealed within the vessel creating a barrier between the fluid and a compressible air chamber. The air acts as a cushion which compresses when the system pressure suddenly increases as a result of hydraulic shock. HydroGuard™ shock arrestors are best used at the point of shock and should be installed close to the valve or piping where shock originates from.
